Evolveum Launches MidPilot at Gartner IAM Summit

Evolveum, known for its open-source Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform midPoint, addressed challenges in application onboarding at the Gartner Identity & Access Management Summit 2026 in London. Chief Product Officer Pavol Mederly highlighted the complexity and time involved in connecting business applications to IGA platforms. At the summit, Evolveum introduced midPilot, an AI-driven assistant that automates onboarding processes, aiming to reduce deployment times and costs.

Mederly emphasized the market's fatigue with complex onboarding processes and noted a shift towards open-source solutions driven by concerns over vendor lock-in and data residency. This change reflects a growing demand for digital sovereignty in identity infrastructure.

Evolveum is also hosting the 2nd Annual MidPoint Community Meetup in Prague from May 12-15, 2026. This event will offer insights into identity governance, midPoint deployments, and updates on their platform, including midPilot.
