Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Launches Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is set to open its latest property, Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere, in northwest England on July 10, 2026. This marks Fairmont's fourth UK hotel, joining The Savoy, Fairmont Windsor Park, and Fairmont St Andrews. Located on 157 acres of Cheshire countryside, the hotel offers guests luxury accommodation and dining experiences, including a restaurant led by Gordon Ramsay.

The transformation of this historic property involved a £125 million investment by Select Group, turning a famed leisure estate into a luxury hotel. The grand opening presents guests with lavish amenities, such as an 18-hole golf course, and a range of dining options in the heart of Cheshire.

Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere aims to be a social hub, offering a 1,000-square meter ballroom for events, alongside smaller boardrooms for meetings. The estate combines classic charm with modern elegance, attracting guests for celebrations and peaceful retreats.
