Focus Graphite Transitions to Advanced Materials and Technology

Focus Graphite Inc., a Canadian critical minerals company, is shifting towards advanced materials and technology. This move leverages the Lac Knife project in Québec to support sectors such as energy storage and electric vehicles, aiming to meet the high demand for sustainable materials.

The Lac Knife project has completed its Feasibility Study and is advancing in the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment process. This positions it as a potential North American supplier of high-purity graphite, which is vital for electric vehicles and renewable energy storage.

Focus has developed silicon-enhanced spheroidized graphite technology that enhances lithium-ion battery performance. With successful initial tests, commercialization through licensing is planned, targeting the high-performance battery market.
