Forbo CEO Jens Fankhänel Steps Down Amid Health Concerns
Forbo Group has announced that Jens Fankhänel, who temporarily stepped back from his role as CEO due to health issues in February 2025, will not be returning. He is set to leave the company on April 30, 2025. Andreas Jaeger, the current CFO, has been serving as interim CEO and will continue in this role until a permanent replacement is found.
Fankhänel's decision comes despite progress in his recovery. The Board of Directors expressed gratitude for his service and wished him success in his future endeavors. The search for a new CEO is underway, with Jaeger collaborating with Board Chairman Bernhard Merki during this transition period.
