FDE Advances in Hydrogen with a Contract in Norway
Société Française de l’Énergie (FDE) has signed a major contract for the supply of electrolysers for its Agder Hydrogen Hub project in Norway. This 20 MW flagship project marks a crucial milestone in FDE’s development, in partnership with ITM Power, a specialist in PEM electrolysers.
With a budget of €20 million, FDE plans to install four 5 MW units by 2026 and will benefit from ENOVA's support through a grant covering nearly 40% of this investment. The project, which is expected to expand to 60 MW by 2027, is part of FDE's ambitions to increase its turnover and significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
This development strategically positions FDE as a major player in the low-carbon energy sector in Europe, with the aim of becoming a leader in this energy transition.
