Freedom Holding Corp. Pushes AI Development in Kazakhstan
Freedom Holding Corp. has announced progress on its AI infrastructure endeavors in Kazakhstan. The firm is spearheading a $2 billion Sovereign AI Hub and preparing to introduce a public GPU cloud in 2027. These initiatives focus on enhancing computational resources for businesses, developers, and public sector entities.
The AI Hub project was formalized in collaboration with Kazakhstan's Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development in November 2025. Planned infrastructure aims to bolster AI model training, data processing, and AI service development. Already, demand for the hub's capacity exceeds initial plans.
Timur Turlov, CEO of Freedom Holding Corp., highlights the anticipated release of a public GPU cloud, facilitating easier access to computing for AI workloads. Additionally, Freedom is constructing a new data center near Almaty and expanding its Freedom AI Super Cluster.
