FUCHS Joint Venture Facility in Saudi-Arabia Severely Damaged by Fire

The production facility of FUCHS SE's joint venture, ALHAMRANI FUCHS PETROLEUM, in Yanbu, Saudi-Arabia, suffered severe damage due to a fire on July 25, 2026. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, as employee safety remains the company's top priority. The incident has led to a suspension of operations at the affected production and filling facilities.

In response, the company is prioritizing the maintenance of customer supply through alternative production and sourcing strategies while planning for the facility's reconstruction. ALHAMRANI FUCHS PETROLEUM, in which FUCHS holds a 32% minority stake, contributed around 1.5% to FUCHS Group's EBIT in 2025. The disruption is a critical concern for the joint venture.
