Funding Circle Announces Board Leadership Transition

Funding Circle Holdings plc has appointed Maeve Byrne as an independent non-executive director and Chair Designate of the Audit Committee, effective June 2, 2025. This change follows the announced departure of Geeta Gopalan, current Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, who will step down on June 18, 2025. Maeve Byrne will lead the combined Audit and Risk Committee starting this date.

With over 30 years in financial services, Maeve is a seasoned expert, having served in senior roles at KPMG and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Her current positions include being a Non-Executive Director and Chair at LendInvest Plc and M-Kopa Holdings Limited.

Ken Stannard, Chair of Funding Circle, expressed gratitude to Geeta for her service, while warmly welcoming Maeve and highlighting her extensive experience as vital to the company's continued growth.
