Funding Circle Executes Share Buyback
On February 26, 2025, Funding Circle Holdings plc announced the repurchase and cancellation of 157,633 ordinary shares from Investec Bank plc. The transaction is part of the company's buyback plan disclosed on October 16, 2024.
The shares were bought on the London Stock Exchange at a highest price of 109.50 pence and a lowest price of 105.50 pence, with a volume-weighted average price of 108.5971 pence per share. Following this transaction, Funding Circle's issued share capital now totals 320,963,519 ordinary shares with voting rights.
This latest buyback aligns with the EU's Market Abuse Regulation as it forms part of the Retained EU Law. It also adjusts the denominator used by shareholders to determine notification obligations under the FCA's rules.
