Funding Circle Reports Strong Growth in H1 2025
Funding Circle Holdings plc, a prominent UK SME finance platform, has released its trading update for the first half of 2025. The Group reported significant increases in revenue and profit margins, reflecting the strength of its brand, technology, and credit decision-making capabilities.
Credit extended during this period reached £1.1 billion, a 21% rise from H1 2024. Term Loans originations grew to £736 million, driven by operating leverage and cost management strategies initiated in 2024. FlexiPay and the Cashback credit card also saw substantial growth, with total credit extended now over £1 billion.
Additionally, a share buyback program is in progress, aiming to repurchase up to £25 million in shares. Funding Circle remains on target to meet its FY26 guidance of over £200 million in revenue and £30 million in profit before tax.
