Galaxy Ventures Announces Qualifying Transaction with TruSilver Metals
Galaxy Ventures Inc. (TSXV:GXY.P) is set to complete its qualifying transaction (QT) with TruSilver Metals Corp., resulting in a name change to TruSilver Metals Corp. Effective October 27, 2026, the TSX Venture Exchange will list shares under the "TAG" symbol, pending final approval. The QT received conditional clearance from the Exchange on October 7, 2026.
TruSilver concluded a $2.83 million financing, crucial for the Sturgis-Walton Silver Project in Nova Scotia. Post-consolidation, Galaxy will merge with TruSilver, issuing shares to TruSilver stakeholders. Total shares post-QT will be over 42 million, with further securities issued.
With mining exploration focused on significant silver potential at Sturgis-Walton, TruSilver aims to leverage advanced exploration technologies. Closing conditions include regulatory approvals, and the transaction must finalize by end-2026.
