Galway Metals Releases Updated Mineral Resource Estimate for Clarence Stream
Galway Metals Inc., based in Toronto, announced an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for its Clarence Stream Gold Project in New Brunswick. The estimate reports a total of 1.42 million ounces of gold in the Indicated category and 1.29 million ounces in the Inferred category. Additionally, the resource includes significant amounts of antimony.
The open pit resources show 1.36 million ounces of Indicated gold at 1.58g/t and 1.02 million ounces Inferred at 1.26g/t. Underground, the Indicated resources are 0.06 million ounces at 3.60g/t and Inferred at 0.27 million ounces at 2.50g/t.
President and CEO Robert Hinchcliffe highlighted the 20% increase in contained gold as strengthening the project. The company is advancing with a 40,000-meter drill program aimed at further expanding resources. The next expected milestone is the Preliminary Economic Assessment.
