GameSquare Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:GAME) revealed its partnership with the U.S. Army for the eighth edition of Soldier Showdown, a prominent esports event focusing on military members. This collaboration, sponsored by USAA, continues a seven-year tradition, emphasizing gaming as a medium to foster camaraderie among soldiers.

Tournament enrollment begins June 25, 2026, with competitions extending from July to October. Participants will engage in popular games like Call of Duty: Warzone and Fortnite. Top gamers will advance to finals at FaZe Esports HQ, Frisco, Texas, with rewards by the Exchange.

Justin Kenna, CEO of GameSquare, expressed pride in hosting the event at their Frisco facility. The initiative, facilitated by the U.S. Army's Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, embodies the significance of gaming in strengthening soldier bonds.
