GameSquare Partners with Paramount for SpongeBob SquarePants Games

GameSquare Holdings, Inc., through its subsidiary Zoned, announced a licensing agreement with Paramount Game Studios to develop SpongeBob SquarePants-themed games within Fortnite. Following a successful campaign in December 2024, this collaboration aims to enhance and expand user engagement with beloved characters from Bikini Bottom.

Doug Rosen, Senior Vice President at Paramount, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership's potential to connect fans with iconic SpongeBob characters. Carlos Tovar, President of Zoned, highlighted the development of immersive games that reflect the vibrant world of Bikini Bottom.

This new venture builds on Zoned's strategic initiatives, like the launch of the Topgolf Universe in Fortnite's UEFN platform, furthering its goal of merging gaming with pop culture. Notably, these projects are independent of Epic Games' sponsorship or endorsement.
