Gaumont: Mixed 2025 annual results despite some successes

In 2025, Gaumont's consolidated revenue remained stable at €150.3 million, the same as in 2024. However, the company posted a net loss of €19.5 million, amplified by a return to normal after an exceptional year in 2024 and provisions for losses. The film sector saw its revenues fall by 23%, despite the success of certain films such as "Un Ours dans le Jura" (A Bear in the Jura).

In contrast, the audiovisual sector saw strong growth of 37%, with eight new deliveries. Gaumont invested €29.3 million in film and €47.4 million in audiovisual. Shareholders' equity decreased by 10%, influenced by negative results for the year. A decision by the AMF (French Financial Markets Authority) could mandate a public delisting offer in the near future.
