Gemdale Gold Launches Infill Drilling at Pontio Gold Project

Gemdale Gold Inc. has announced the start of an extensive infill diamond drilling program at its Pontio Gold Project in Finland. This initiative follows their listing on the TSX Venture Exchange and a C$2.4 million investment from Eldorado Gold Corporation. The 2026 program aims to gather data for a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate and an updated technical report.

The drilling will focus on the M2 Trend, a significant zone of gold mineralization, targeting spacings of 50m to 100m to confirm continuity. Additionally, the program seeks to explore depth extensions and expand the trend following successful step-out drilling in 2024.

Since its inception, 10,000 meters of drilling have been conducted at Pontio, revealing consistent gold mineralization. Key intersections have demonstrated significant potential across the project, which remains open in all directions.
