Genel Energy Appoints Patrick Allman-Ward as Chair

Genel Energy has announced the appointment of Patrick Allman-Ward as the new Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Board, effective February 9, 2026. Allman-Ward is an esteemed figure in the energy sector, boasting over 40 years of international experience. He previously served as CEO of Dana Gas from 2013 to 2024, where he initiated significant transformative changes.

In addition to his new role at Genel, Allman-Ward is currently the Chair of Terra Mining and Vice Chair of United Terra Enterprises. At Genel, he will lead the Reserves and Nomination Committees and participate in the Remuneration Committee. Canan Ediboğlu will return to her role as Senior Independent Director.
