Gerresheimer Advances Sustainability with New Glass Production Facility

Gerresheimer AG has finalized a significant investment in a new glass production facility in Lohr, marking a milestone in its sustainability efforts. The centerpiece of this project is an oxy-hybrid furnace capable of reducing CO2e emissions by up to 40%. This furnace, along with an energy-efficient cooling system, represents cutting-edge production technology aimed at enhancing environmental responsibility.

With a total investment of around 100 million euros, the facility is poised to expand capacity to support future growth.
