Gerresheimer to Separate Moulded Glass Business

Gerresheimer AG has announced plans to separate its Moulded Glass division and initiate a sales process for this business unit. The move follows a strategic review aimed at identifying optimal growth opportunities for the Moulded Glass operations, comprising eight production plants across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The division recorded revenues of approximately EUR 735 million with an EBITDA margin of 20% in 2024.

The separation aligns with Gerresheimer's strategic shift towards focusing exclusively on the pharma and biotech industries. The company, in collaboration with Bormioli Pharma, has built a "Moulded Glass Powerhouse," offering a diverse range of products for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food and beverage sectors.

The divestment will allow Gerresheimer to concentrate on enhancing its portfolio of drug delivery systems and packaging solutions, reinforcing its position in the pharma and biotech market. The company will provide further updates during its Capital Markets Day in October 2025.
