Getlink Reports March 2025 Shuttle Traffic Figures
In March 2025, Getlink's LeShuttle Freight transported 105,413 trucks, marking a 2% increase from March 2024. Since January, a total of 302,144 trucks have crossed the Channel using the Shuttles. This steady performance comes despite broader economic challenges.
Conversely, LeShuttle Passenger services experienced a 16% decline, carrying 122,419 passenger vehicles in March, compared to the same period last year. This decrease is attributed to the shift of the Easter weekend and British school holidays to April in 2025. Year-to-date figures show over 370,000 passenger vehicles transported.
Getlink will release April 2025 traffic data on Friday, 9 May 2025, prior to market opening, offering further insights into trends.
