LeShuttle Reports Decline in April 2026 Traffic

In April 2026, LeShuttle Freight transported 96,881 trucks, marking a 2% decrease compared to April 2025. Since the start of the year, over 390,000 trucks traversed the Channel using the Shuttles. Passenger vehicle traffic experienced a more significant drop. LeShuttle carried 184,662 passenger vehicles, a 10% decline from the previous year, attributed largely to the timing of UK school holidays.

From January to April 2026, the total number of trucks and passenger vehicles transported showed declines of 2% and 4% respectively, when compared to the same period in 2025. The next set of traffic figures is expected on June 5, 2026, before the market opens.
