GL Events and Fimalac: A major strategic merger
GL Events, Trévise Participations, and Fimalac have entered into exclusive negotiations to create a leading cultural player. The proposed acquisition includes Fimalac Entertainment's venue management, ticketing, and show production activities.
GL Events plans to acquire the management of Salle Pleyel and other regional venues through its Venues division, while Trévise Participations will focus on show production and ticketing through Wetix.
Fimalac will acquire a 5% stake in Polygone, the parent company of GL Events. This transaction requires regulatory approval and the support of social partners, with completion expected in the third quarter of 2025.
The three companies aim for strong European cultural expansion, promoting innovation and artistic accessibility.
