Green Forests GmbH Expands with New Acquisition in Croatia

Green Forests GmbH, a Swiss investor in sustainable tree investments, has completed its corporate restructuring, unifying its various portfolio companies under the Green Forests umbrella. Specializing in decarbonization projects and tree plantations, the company has expanded its holdings with the acquisition of a 60-hectare plot in Croatia. Over the next two years, this land will host up to 30,000 Paulownia trees.

Green Forests collaborates with international tree and forestry institutes, leveraging scientific expertise and EU certifications to optimize the growth of Paulownia trees. These trees are noted for their rapid growth and significant carbon capture capabilities, aligning with Green Forests' sustainability goals.

Managing Director Jörg Wagner expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, emphasizing its role in strengthening the company’s market position in sustainable investments.
