Grenke Achieves EUR 3 Billion Milestone in 2024 Leasing New Business

Grenke AG announced a successful 2024, surpassing its leasing new business target with EUR 3.1 billion, an 18.4% increase from 2023's EUR 2.6 billion. The contribution margin 2 (CM2) rose by 21.6% to EUR 518.5 million, improving the CM2 margin to 17.0%, slightly above targets.

CEO Dr. Sebastian Hirsch attributed their first-ever leap over the EUR 3 billion mark to overcoming macroeconomic challenges. CFO Dr. Martin Paal highlighted the strong average CM2 margin, setting a robust 2025 earnings foundation.

Growth was noted across all regions, with Western Europe leading, followed by Southern and Northern/Eastern Europe. Lease applications rose by 9%, and new lease contracts by 7%. Higher deposits at Grenke Bank also increased by 37.7%.
