Groupe ADP and French State Agree on 2027-2034 Economic Regulation Agreement
Groupe ADP and the French State have reached an agreement for a 2027-2034 Economic Regulation Agreement (ERA) aimed at implementing an €8.2 billion investment programme. This programme seeks to enhance Paris airports' competitiveness and strengthen France's global position.
The agreement follows negotiations with the Ministry responsible for Civil Aviation, considering feedback from airlines and the French Transport Regulatory Authority's recommendations. The plan maintains an ambitious eight-year industrial project, emphasizing cost moderation and a 5.8% average return on capital.
Key efforts include improving border control capacity, enhancing security, and modernizing infrastructure. The ERA features a mandatory review in 2030 and aims for consistent growth and service improvements. The proposal now awaits further consultation before final ART approval, potentially allowing implementation by January 2027.
