Gurit Finalizes Sale of Italian PET Recycling Site

On April 1, 2025, Gurit Holding AG announced the completion of its divestment of the PET recycling site located in Carmignano di Brenta, Italy. This sale aligns with Gurit's ongoing strategy to realign its business operations. Initially announced on January 30, 2025, the divestment involves the transfer of ownership to Aliplast, a prominent European leader in plastic regeneration under the Hera Group.

The Hera Group is one of the largest multi-utility entities in Italy, specializing in waste management, energy, and water sectors, supporting over 10,000 employees. With the divestment finalized, Gurit expressed deep appreciation for the dedication of its employees at the site, assuring them of support during the transition period.
