ION Race Delivers Consistent Performance at Monaco's Formula E Double-Header

Hankook Tire & Technology Co., Ltd. showcased its iON Race tyre during Rounds 9 and 10 of the Formula E Championship at the Circuit de Monaco. The event highlighted the tyre's performance across two distinctive race formats. As the exclusive supplier for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Hankook equipped all teams for the 2026 Monaco E-Prix.

The races took place over two days on the 3.337 km track, famous for its steep climbs and challenging corners. Race 1 featured a mandatory pit stop, adding complexity to strategies. Nyck de Vries of Mahindra Racing won with a proactive approach. In Race 2, Oliver Rowland of Nissan excelled in energy management, securing a victory by leveraging optimal timing in ATTACK MODE.

Hankook's iON Race tyre delivered stable performance and adaptability on the intricate circuit, supporting varied strategies and consistent thermal control. The upcoming leg will take the championship to Asia, starting with the Sanya E-Prix in China.
