Karl Gernandt Appointed Chairman of Hapag-Lloyd Supervisory Board

Karl Gernandt has been elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hapag-Lloyd AG, effective immediately. He takes over from Michael Behrendt, who is stepping down due to health issues but remains an ordinary board member. In related changes, Francisco Pérez Mackenna resigned from the board representing CSAV’s shareholders, with Macario Valdés Raczynski appointed as his successor as of February 13, 2026.
