Heidelberg Pharma and Huadong Medicine Enhance ADC Collaboration
Heidelberg Pharma AG has announced an expansion of its partnership with Huadong Medicine Co., Ltd. to further develop Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs). This new agreement aims to jointly research up to six targets, thereby broadening Heidelberg Pharma's product pipeline.
The collaboration blends both companies' technologies, including Heidelberg Pharma's ATAC® technology and Huadong's R&D capabilities. The goal is to create new ADCs with enhanced targeting precision and biological efficacy, potentially leading to improved therapeutic options for relapsed or refractory disease patients.
The agreement specifies shared ownership of development candidates, based on contributions. Dr. Dongzhou Jeffery Liu, CEO of Heidelberg Pharma, highlights the strategic aim of setting new standards in cancer treatment through this collaboration.
