Heidelberg Pharma and Huadong Medicine Expand ADC Collaboration

Heidelberg Pharma AG has entered a new collaboration agreement with Huadong Medicine Co., Ltd. to develop Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs). This partnership aims to expand their existing relationship by focusing on up to six new ADC targets. The goal is to combine Heidelberg Pharma’s proprietary technologies, such as the ATAC® platform, with Huadong’s advanced R&D capabilities. This collaboration seeks to generate innovative bispecific and multispecific ADCs, potentially transforming therapeutic options for patients with relapsed or refractory diseases.

The agreement allows for the joint development of ADCs incorporating Huadong's proprietary antibodies or technologies, which may enhance both precision and clinical efficacy. The ownership of developed candidates will reflect each party's contributions, aiming to leverage both firms' strength. The development aims to improve efficacy while ensuring patient safety.
