Heidelberger Druckmaschinen Marks 20 Years in Shanghai

Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) celebrates the 20th anniversary of its Shanghai production site, a key element in its growth strategy. Established in 2005, the site now plays a significant role in the company's global operations, with an export quota of 40%, reaching 70 countries. Over 16,000 printing and coating units have been delivered from the facility to date.

Initially focusing on simple folding machines, the Shanghai plant has grown into an essential part of HEIDELBERG's network, producing high-demand models like the Speedmaster CX 92, SX 102, and CX 104. The site also serves as a competence center, attracting customers across Asia for demonstrations and training.

The success of the plant underscores HEIDELBERG's strategy of local production combined with international cooperation, contributing to its strong market position in China, where packaging printing is booming.
