H2APEX Reports Significant Revenue Growth in First Half of 2026
H2APEX Group SCA, a prominent developer of green hydrogen plants, saw its revenue rise by 67.5% in the first half of 2026, reaching EUR 7.0 million, up from EUR 4.2 million in the same period in 2025. The growth is attributed to the strategic shift towards project development and energy/asset management.
The Project Development & Energy/Asset Management segment reported a significant increase in external revenue to EUR 3.2 million, significantly up from EUR 0.7 million in H1 2025. Meanwhile, H2APEX's subsidiary, AKROS Energy, marked its first revenue from hydrogen storage technology.
Despite increased revenue, EBITDA stood at EUR -14.8 million due to higher costs related to hydrogen trading and staff expenses. The company anticipates meeting its 2026 revenue forecast of EUR 14–16 million, supported by secured contractual revenue and growing market demand for green hydrogen.
