Hep global Unveils Largest Solar Project in Germany

hep global GmbH has completed the development phase of its largest solar project in Germany, boasting a capacity of 35.7 MWp. The "Buckeläcker" solar park, located in Eppingen near Güglingen, covers 30 hectares and aims to generate around 38 million kilowatt-hours yearly. This output can potentially meet the energy needs of approximately 10,800 households annually.

The project includes a new substation at Hohenstein, integrating a 20.3 MWh green energy storage system with a 10 MW output. This setup allows for storing and releasing solar power during peak electricity prices, enhancing economic benefits.

Project Manager Benjamin Brasch highlights the significance of utilizing global experience for local development. Construction, managed by ZaberSolar GmbH, is expected to conclude by mid-2027, marking a vital milestone for hep global.
