Hep solar and MMR Projekt GmbH Launch Joint Solar Initiative

hep solar, a solar specialist from Baden-Württemberg, and MMR Projekt GmbH, a project development firm in Hesse, have announced a collaboration to construct ground-mounted solar plants in the Frankfurt area. The initial plan includes three projects totaling approximately 20 MWp, situated in Hesse, northeast of Frankfurt, with construction beginning in 2026.

MMR Projekt GmbH will oversee project development, while hep solar handles electricity marketing, construction, and operation. Bruno Belfort of hep solar expressed optimism about the partnership, citing expected synergies from MMR's regional focus and hep's expertise.

Robin Lehmberg of MMR highlights the long-term operation and integration of local networks into projects. The partnership is committed to regional involvement, with plans such as nature trails and participation in local non-profit initiatives.
