Highlight Event and Entertainment AG Reports First Half 2026 Results

Highlight Event and Entertainment AG released its financial results for the first half of 2026. Consolidated sales decreased to CHF 127.4 million from CHF 156.5 million the previous year, impacted by production factors and currency effects. However, operating profit (EBIT) improved to CHF -15.3 million from CHF -31.0 million. This improvement is attributed to effective cost-reduction strategies, resulting in a notable rise in EBITDA to CHF 33.0 million.

Despite the drop in sales, the company achieved a substantial reduction in operating expenses by CHF 48.3 million, totaling CHF 177.6 million. Net profit also showed progress, narrowing to CHF -21.2 million from CHF -35.7 million in 2025. The film segment reported sales of CHF 87.7 million, while sports and events decreased to CHF 39.7 million.
