Top 100 Semi-Finalists Set Sail for EPIC 2025 Grand Finale in Hong Kong
Organised by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), EPIC 2025 has reached record global participation rates. The event, co-sponsored by Cathay and HSBC, has shortlisted the top 100 startups from 1,200 applicants worldwide. An unprecedented 85% of these are non-local startups, highlighting a diverse pool of innovations in Digital Health Tech, FinTech, and GreenTech
The semi-finalists will compete for USD 105M in investment funding and USD 240,000 in cash prizes during the Grand Finale in November. EPIC 2025 will unfold over several days, including a Tech Spotlight showcase and a Greater Bay Area Exploration tour, culminating at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal.
Strategic partners, such as Takeda, alongside corporate sponsors, are reinforcing opportunities for business investment and industry collaboration.
