Horizon Aircraft Announces Advances in Cavorite X7 Design
Horizon Aircraft Ltd., an advanced aerospace firm, has unveiled significant improvements in the design of its hybrid-electric VTOL aircraft, the Cavorite X7. Following successful prototype tests in 2025, the company is moving forward with full-scale production. The updates, developed in collaboration with designer Andrea Mocellin, aim to enhance safety, aerodynamics, and passenger comfort.
The Cavorite X7 now incorporates 12 standardized vertical lift fans, optimizing manufacturing and maintenance while maintaining safety. Additionally, aerodynamic adjustments to the canard and tails have reduced drag, elevating cruise performance. The cabin space has been enhanced for passenger comfort with more legroom and improved visibility.
CEO Brandon Robinson highlighted the engineering team's role in advancing the aircraft's performance. The ongoing commitment to safety and efficiency supports Horizon's mission to develop a leading VTOL aircraft for diverse applications.
