Hoymiles Launches HiSwitch and HiBox for Efficient Home Backup
Hoymiles has announced the release of its HiSwitch and HiBox gateway to enhance whole-home energy backup systems. Aimed at simplifying installation and increasing resilience, these products integrate with the HiOne All-in-One Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), offering seamless off-grid switching capabilities.
HiSwitch combines a transfer switch, circuit breaker, meter, bypass switch, and CT in a compact unit. Installed via DIN-rail, it eliminates extensive cabling and supports a wide range of electric loads. Its high-current switching cycles offer dependable continuity and minimize service interruptions.
HiBox acts as a hub for whole-home backup, allowing system expansion with ease. It accommodates multiple power sources, including generators and PV inverters, and features smart load control. Together, HiSwitch and HiBox provide a comprehensive solution for home energy resilience and smart energy management.
