Huawei Unveils AI Data Platform to Enhance Business Value

In a significant move at MWC Barcelona 2026, Huawei introduced its new AI Data Platform. Yuan Yuan, President of Huawei Data Storage Product Line, highlighted the platform's role in bridging the gap between AI models and business value. The launch addresses issues plaguing AI integration into key services, emphasizing inference over mere training.

The "3+1" AI Data Platform features innovative components: high-accuracy multimodal knowledge generation, a KV cache for rapid inference acceleration, memory extraction for model enhancement, and a Unified Cache Manager. These elements promise to reduce initial response times by 90% and improve AI functionality.

The platform offers two deployment modes: an appliance mode using the OceanStor A800 system and an independent mode with AI data engine nodes. This ensures scalable, high-performance solutions for businesses navigating AI transitions.
