HUBER+SUHNER Secures Major Orders for POLATIS® Optical Circuit Switches

HUBER+SUHNER AG has announced substantial orders for its POLATIS® optical circuit switches (OCS) from a prominent hyperscale data center infrastructure provider. These orders are part of a multi-year agreement, expected to significantly boost sales over the next three years.

This contract marks a considerable achievement within HUBER+SUHNER's Data Center growth initiative. The company is aiming to address the rising demand for OCS solutions driven by the expansion of hyperscale data centers, fueled by cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI).

POLATIS® OCS solutions enhance AI operations by minimizing latency and reducing power consumption, enabling efficient, cost-effective data center architectures. The announcement coincides with the opening of a new production site in Pisary, Poland, dedicated to these technologies.
