Hyundai Mobis Expands R&D in Bengaluru

Hyundai Mobis has announced the establishment of a new software R&D hub in Bengaluru, India, forming part of its dual research strategy alongside its Hyderabad center. This development aims to harness top-tier local software talent and respond quickly to the demands of local customers.

Bengaluru, known for its strong IT ecosystem, was selected to meet the growing demand for software R&D. The new hub will focus on infotainment software and other core components, crucial for the mid-to-large-sized automotive market shift in India.

This move enhances Hyundai Mobis's ability to implement a flexible R&D strategy by diversifying its operations between Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The aim is to boost the company's global competitiveness and significantly increase its order value from Indian customers by 2028.
