Digi Power X Pursues Strategic Partnership with Pleasants Power Station
Digi Power X Inc., an energy infrastructure company, has entered a non-binding letter of intent with Omnis Pleasants LLC, owner of a 1.3 GW power plant in West Virginia. This partnership aims to support AI and high-performance computing infrastructure. A comprehensive load and interconnection study will evaluate power availability for computing applications.
The partnership plans a long-term lease of 200 acres for deploying Digi Power X's AI infrastructure. It also includes mutual equity exchange and potential equity ownership exceeding 10% in the Pleasants plant. A feasibility study for hydrogen transition at Digi Power X's New York assets is also planned.
Digi Power X aims to execute definitive agreements within 90 days, following standard conditions and approvals.
