IDI acquires a majority stake in the Belgian IE group
Private equity group IDI has announced that it has acquired a majority stake in the Belgian group IE. Founded in 1983 and comprising Intersoft Electronics, Intersoft Services, and Advionics, IE specializes in radar systems for civil and military use.
IE, with its 400 employees, has a turnover of over €60 million. The company offers innovations such as the NGSP system and NORA, enhancing the reliability of radar systems. IDI will support the IE group in its international expansion through a targeted external growth policy.
Julien Bentz of IDI expressed his satisfaction with this acquisition, emphasizing the company's commitment to supporting IE's development in Europe. For Luc Switten, CEO of IE, the arrival of IDI marks a key milestone for the group, strengthening its path to global technological excellence.
