IGEL and Zscaler Unveil Healthcare Security Blueprints

IGEL and Zscaler have introduced new healthcare security blueprints aimed at modernizing infrastructure through a secure, immutable endpoint OS in SASE architectures. Announced at HIMSS26 Europe in Copenhagen, these blueprints offer architectural guidance for securing distributed care delivery, protecting health information, and ensuring operational continuity in clinical settings.

The blueprints address challenges heightened by distributed healthcare delivery, such as increased endpoint exposure and access paths. They combine IGEL's endpoint OS and management tools with Zscaler's access controls. Three key blueprints focus on secure access during cyber disruptions, standardizing security in clinics, and remote clinician access.
