Infosys and Metsä Group Bolster AI-driven IT Collaboration

Infosys, a leader in AI-first business consulting, is deepening its collaboration with the Finnish-based forest industry company, Metsä Group. They announced an expansion of their strategic partnership focused on transforming IT operations with AI. Infosys will manage application, cloud, workplace, and service desk operations across Metsä's global sites, enhancing productivity and innovation through automation and data-driven services.

This collaboration will employ Infosys Topaz Fabric, an AI-centric service suite, aimed at streamlining Metsä's IT operations and lowering costs. Kristiina Lammila, CIO of Metsä Group, expressed confidence in meeting efficiency demands through this partnership, while Infosys' Ruchir Budhwar emphasized the importance of AI in addressing industry challenges. The initiative reflects Infosys’ commitment to the Finnish market and supports Metsä’s operational goals amid rising cost pressures.
