Intershop Reports Increased Operating Profit and Portfolio Expansion
Intershop Holding AG announced a rise in net income, excluding property fair value changes, by 18% to CHF 33.8 million in the first half of 2026. This increase was due to higher operating income, lower expenses, and one-off tax benefits. However, net income including fair value changes decreased, impacted by lower revaluation gains.
Rental income showed a decline of 3.1% to CHF 42.9 million, mainly due to transactions completed in the prior year and the first half of 2026. Despite this, operating income increased by 1.7% due to net property disposals and other income contributions.
Intershop made strategic portfolio enhancements, notably acquiring a key commercial site in Kemptthal while divesting two properties for CHF 34.0 million. The overall property portfolio value increased to CHF 1,917.9 million, supported by positive transactions and investments.
