Inventiva Completes Final Visit of the NATiV3 Lanifibranor Study
The biopharmaceutical company Inventiva announced the completion of the last patient visit in its Phase 3 clinical trial, NATiV3. This study is evaluating lanifibranor for the treatment of non-cirrhotic steatohepatitis associated with metabolic dysfunction (MASH). The primary cohort includes 1,009 biopsy-confirmed adults, with an additional 410 patients in an exploratory cohort.
The main results are expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. If favorable, Inventiva plans to apply for regulatory approval in the first half of 2027. Potential commercialization in the United States could follow in 2028, pending FDA approval.
The company's next financial results release is scheduled for September 28, 2026, with a conference call to discuss the results.
