Inventiva presents its advancements at the Paris MASH 2026 Congress

Inventiva, a biopharmaceutical company listed on Euronext Paris and Nasdaq, announced the presentation of five abstracts at the 12th Paris MASH 2026 Congress. These works highlight the results of Phase 1 and 2 clinical studies on lanifibranor, an oral treatment for metabolic steatohepatitis (MASH).

Lanifibranor demonstrates a positive impact on the metabolic profile of patients, including those with type 2 diabetes. Improvements have been observed in insulin sensitivity and certain cardiovascular risk factors. In parallel, preclinical research is strengthening its cardiovascular safety profile, thus differentiating it from thiazolidinediones.

This innovative treatment is currently in Phase 3 under the NATiV3 study, with results expected by the end of 2026.
