IONOS Group SE Announces New CFO Appointment

IONOS Group SE has appointed Patrik Heider as the new Chief Financial Officer, effective November 15, 2025. Heider, who was most recently CEO of NFON AG, will succeed Britta Schmidt, who is leaving the company at the end of the year. The transition phase with Schmidt will ensure a smooth changeover, with Heider officially beginning his duties as CFO on January 1, 2026.

Heider's background includes roles as CEO at several software companies and as CFO at the Hoffmann Group. Schmidt, who has been with IONOS since 2021, played a pivotal role in the company's IPO in 2023 and enhancing its capital market presence.

Both Ralph Dommermuth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Achim Weiß, CEO of IONOS Group SE, praised Schmidt for her contributions and welcomed Heider for his expertise in financial leadership and strategic growth.
