Ameriprise Financial Increases Stake in Irish Residential Properties REIT

Irish Residential Properties REIT plc (IRES) announced a significant change in its shareholder structure. Ameriprise Financial, Inc., through its controlled undertakings, crossed the 5% threshold of voting rights in IRES. On April 16, 2025, the total voting rights held by Ameriprise reached 5.444%, up from a previous 4.003%. This change was officially notified to IRES on April 17, 2025.

The increase in stake includes a transfer of temporary proxy voting shares. Harewood Nominees Limited is listed as the shareholder on behalf of Ameriprise. Ameriprise is represented by several entities within its group, including Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Thames River Capital LLP, which alone accounts for 4.600% of the voting rights. This notification complies with the regulations enforced by the Central Bank of Ireland.
